Managing Hair and Scalp Health with M.C.C
Many types of scalp conditions share similar symptoms such as itching, inflammation, skin flaking, and more.
There are many common types of scalp conditions that can cause some very irritating symptoms. Scalp conditions do not usually cause any major complications, and most are not contagious.
Conditions that the scalp is susceptible to include:
- Mycotic conditions, such as dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis
- Inflammatory conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema
Hair loss (alopecia) can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men.
Here at M.C.C. we have a range of shampoos, conditioners and hair oils that are SLS, SLES, M.I and paraben free, that can help soothe your scalp and restore your hair to it’s crowning glory.

I have bad eczema and other problems and I reacted badly to shampoos and conditioner I’ve even tried stuff from the doctors on several occasions to no effect and it damaged my hair and stunk, and I still had to use conditioner, I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner instead and my head doesn’t itch, that went with the first 2 washes, and slowly over the other few washes my scalp stopped bleeding, being open and sore and painful to looking normal. There is occasionally the tiniest bit of scaling still but with every wash its improving my scalp I no longer am embarrassed to leave my house because people could see how awfully my scalp looked and I’m no longer itching or have a very painful scalp anymore.
Kayleigh – Trustpilot

63% of working women straighten their hair, every single day causing heat damage.
Frizz is still the number one hair concern for women aged between 18 and 65 in the UK, and hair is still the most time-consuming part of a woman’s daily routine.
We still spend on average 60 hours a year smoothing down our locks.
All of our shampoos are free from SLS, SLES, M.I’s and parabens. An SLS-free shampoo does not contain the harsh and irritating ingredient sodium lauryl sulphate, which is a foaming agent (detergent) used by many hair care brands in the UK. If you have a sore, itchy or flaky scalp, one of the simplest things you can try is washing your hair with a shampoo free from these ingredients.
We blend our shampoos and conditioners with a blend of essential oils, which all do a different job, which we will explain below.
Our hair care range is suitable for all hair types, including colour treated hair.

THE BENEFITS OF OILING HAIR
Using hair oil regularly restores vitamins and minerals that can get stripped away if you wash you hair frequently. Hair oiling can also help protect from breakage, decrease frizz, and lend polish and shine to damaged strands.
Protects your hair from damage and breakage
If you get into the habit of oiling your hair regularly, you’ll begin to notice that it feels stronger and shinier. Coating your hair with the right oil provides nourishment and protection all the way to the inner layers of the hair shaft. Not only will you see less breakage, but you’ll also gain a protective layer that helps prevent damage from your blow dryer, flat iron, or other styling tools.
Decreases frizz and polishes ends
If you’re in a constant battle against frizz, hair oiling can help. Oils that are rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids lock in moisture and increase strength and elasticity, which leads to a reduction of frizz. In addition, if you have split ends, flyway’s, or damaged strands, oil can hide the signs of damage while giving you a smooth, polished look.
When you, look at the benefits of hair oil and then combine this with the power of M.C.C. blends, the results are amazing.
